Lewisham People’s Day is one of the biggest, free community events in the UK.
Since 2006, Continental Drifts has worked with the council to create an inclusive community event within a tight budget that provides an enjoyable but safe environment for visitors and staff.
We work closely with the police and security teams to create a robust entry procedure and develop the emergency plans for the event.

We pull together more than 150 community organisations at the event and generate income for the event via concessions and a funfair. The event features seven or more music and performance areas each year and attracts an audience of more than 20,000 people.
