Shangri-La, and its predecessor Lost Vagueness, has been musically curated by Continental Drifts since 2004.
The field has grown from a hidden gem to a vast network of alleyways and shining palaces. Our team now curates around 17 ‘micro’ venues, two main stages with a combined capacity of over 10,000 people and many other cultural items big and small. We programme as many as 50 acts over three days.
We have become the place where obscure acts appear alongside extremely famous acts, from Skrillex to Lady Gaga. Shangri-La has influenced some of the biggest events in the UK and Europe.
“The riotous experience that is Shangri-La makes for the best field and most innovative space in any UK Festival.” The Guardian
