5 piece female vocal group from London, ELLE & THE POCKET BELLES are Elle, Michaela, Chloé, Cat and Joanna.

The quintet bring a contemporary freshness and quirky humour to a classic girl-group format mixing the influences of jazzy vocal harmony and soul from artists like The Supremes or The Ronettes with a modern production twist and tongue-in-chic vintage styling. What some might call the NEW RETRO.

As such, they have become style icons working with long-time collaborators like COLLECTIF CLOTHING, and frequently appearing in British broadsheet features and at vintage lifestyle events like GOODWOOD REVIVAL. The group were also invited to appear on a Sky One TV show mixing up the styles further by working with Beat Boxers and Rappers.

Musically, they have been particularly in demand on the Electro Swing scene, working with Bart & Baker, C@ in the H@ and Ragtime Records, Pisk (Swingrowers), Swing & Bass, Odd Chap and contributing vocals on 5 tracks of Mista Trick’s album YOU.

This led to the group signing in 2023 with the British record company “Freshly Squeezed” and beginning the series of releases that will lead to their debut solo album in early 2024.

You can catch them live in their own right at their London residency or on the UK festival circuit at the likes of Glastonbury, Latitude, Wilderness, Boomtown or Shambala or you can also see members of the group appearing with the MISTA TRICK COLLECTIVE.
