Continental Drifts have produced Phoenix Festival for Phoenix Community Housing since 2015. This free, family festival is the housing association’s annual celebration of community and attracts around 5000 of their residents and neighbours in Lewisham and further afield. Continental Drifts work closely with Phoenix and their community steering group to programme the content of the festival including family activities such as The Bandstand music stage, arts & craft, graffiti workshops, massage zone, sports activities, circus tent, climbing wall, street theatre and the very popular dog competition. The festival also has a small family fun fair, a bar and food & craft traders.

Continental Drifts manage all aspects of event production for Phoenix Festival including council and park liaison, licensing, health & safety, budget management, supplier & staff procurement, trader procurement & management as well as site design and scheduling.

Held in May, Phoenix Festival is always a wonderful start to the summer for Continental Drifts. We enjoy a great relationship with Phoenix Community Housing, Lewisham Council and Forster Memorial Park.
